I've been trying to come up with a proper subject for the Beauty in Everyday Objects contest for the past month, and nothing has seemed right. I've looked through practically everything we own, trying to see things from a closer point of view. But nothing really made me happy.
I was working with another object when I rested my camera against my hand for a second and my wedding rings came into focus. And here's my idea. Not the most creative, but they're definitely beautiful everyday objects.
I haven't taken them off since I was married almost five years ago. They've become such a part of me that I never even thought of them as a subject for this contest.
Photo taken with a stack of macro filters. +1, +2, +4 and 10x macro lens. Natural light and on board flash. My hand is resting against a piece of blue glitter paper.
Cropped, watermarked, and slight curves adjustment in Photoshop.
Hope this is up to par, Tina!
